Meet Yvonne Zwiegelaar – Owner of Precious Pets Cattery
Yvonne Zwiegelaar, the proud owner of Precious Pets Cattery, brings a lifelong passion for cats and extensive experience in animal care to every guest. Yvonne takes pride in providing personalized, one-on-one attention to all the feline guests under her care, ensuring each cat receives the love and comfort they deserve.
With a background in Companion Animal Behaviour (specializing in both cats and dogs) from the University of Pretoria, Yvonne is well-equipped to understand the unique needs and behaviors of cats. Her professional experience includes roles as General Manager at the Animal Welfare Society (Port Elizabeth) and Animal Care Manager at DARG (Hout Bay), where she worked hands-on with a wide variety of animals.
In addition to her cattery, Yvonne is a qualified dog trainer and runs a successful dog training business, Dog Dynamics, based in Constantia. She also shares her home with four cats and four dogs, reflecting her deep love for animals.
